There are no new key items that we benefit from in Phase 2. In Phase 2, The Aldor is still the best faction choice for Hunters, however choosing The Scryers is not the end of the world as the difference is very minor.
Twinblade of the Phoenix or Bloodmoon are the BiS melee weapon options if you plan to melee weave. Just like in Phase 1, an important thing to consider is your melee weapons. However, in order to make this move you MUST have all 4 pieces of Tier 5, until that time you will continue to wear your 4 set Beast Lord. In phase 2 we move away from Beast Lord Armor and into Rift Stalker Armor. You will only have to worry about the 6% gearset. If your raid has a reliable Boomkin available every week to provide.
They are relatively similar in Phase 2 with the only differences being the ring loadout and one gem in the belt slot. There are two provided gearsets below, a 6% and 9% gearset. Luckily there are very close alternatives to many gear slots. You will however notice that unfortunately almost all of the "absolute BiS" items come from the final boss Lady Vashj and Kael'thas Sunstrider. In Phase 2, world boss loot is no longer BiS however Scaled Greaves of the Marksman are still extremely strong so if you managed to get a pair in Phase 1 you could use these the entire phase just fine while letting other hunters get Leggings of Murderous Intent or Void Reaver Greaves. In the gear planner shown below the "Absolute BiS" will be shown, and alternatives to each slot will be presented in the gear slots. For certain gear slots such as bracers/boots/legs/rings there are multiple items that are extremely close to each other. Just like in Phase 1, Hunters have quite a few options to play around with. We have created many different best in slot lists, including a TBCC pre-patch list and a pre-raid list, containing gear you can obtain without doing any raid content.īeast Mastery Hunter DPS Best in Slot HubBeast Mastery Hunter DPS Pre-Raid Best in Slotīest In Slot Gear for Beast Mastery Hunter DPS in Phase 2
